Banswara Marble Multicolored Floral Inlay Bowl
Our intricate Banswara Marble multicolored flower inlay bowl is the most stunning and idyllic representation of parchin kari, an Indian technique originating from 16th century Florence. Parchin kari is the art of cutting and assembling various semi-precious and precious into geometric and floral motifs so precisely that the contact between each section is virtually invisible. Smooth to touch, each stone seamlessly blends into the next to create a stunning and vibrant floral motif.
The stones in this piece are Red Carnelian, Yellow Onyx, Green Baroda, Green Paizer, and Rose Quartz. These stones are sourced from the same regions as those within the walls of the Taj Mahal.
