Mughal Multicolored Inlay Coaster Set

The Mughal multicolored inlay coaster set contains six unique coasters filled with an array of gemstones in Vietnam white marble. The designs in the coasters are reminiscent of the designs within the walls of the Taj Mahal. The set is held within a delicate holder adorned with a traditional Mughal design, as well.

Specifically, the coasters contain Red Carnelian, Lapiz Lazuli, Malachite (green), Turquoise (sky blue), White Mother of Pearl, Jaisalmer Stone, and Abalone. Red carnelian is a brownish and red tinted gemstone. Its color varies from a brown-red to a red-orange range. Lapis lazuli is a semiprecious stone valued for its deep and intense blue color. Abalone is characterized by its unique and iridescent appearance, displaying a range of colors such as blue, green, pink, and purple. 

Each set will slightly vary as each coaster is handmade using the Pietra Dura technique originating in 16th century Florence (also known as Parchin Kari). Given that each set contains six coasters, there will be two of the same coaster.
